KCS SD60

Image © 1997 by Stan Lytle

Painted by Wayne Beavers.

Painter's note: This is my rendition of KCS's NAFTA 2000 locomotive celebrating the year 2000. The actual locomotive is an EMD SD50, ex-KCS 712, but I didn't have access to an SD50, so I used the closest locomotive to it, the SD60. The five logos under the NAFTA lettering represent the five rail entities that comprise the NAFTA Railway, ie. Kansas City Southern, Gateway Western, Tex-Mex, TFM and the Panama Canal Railways.
