Tennessee Central GP38

Image © 1997 by Joshua Moldover

Painted by Dan MacKellar

Painter's note: Here's a proposed paint scheme for my model railroad. I model the Tennessee Central Railroad as it may have appeared had it not gone defunct in 1968. The GP38-2's were purchased in 1984, and are used on hotshot freights and intermodal between Nashville and Knoxville. The paint scheme is rather simple for good a reason - I model in Z scale and didn't really feel like trying to paint my units in a complex scheme (it's hard enough just seeing them!)
